“Very happy with Maria and Elisa! I've been taking my daughters here for awhile now for haircuts. I recently changed hairstylists myself and started seeing Maria as well. She always does a fabulous, thorough job on my hair.
My last hair stylist was leaving me with grey roots still when I got home from the salon, and it was so annoying and frustrating to come home and still see grey along my hair line literally minutes after leaving the salon. Maria easily spends 30 MINUTES carefully applying my hair dye and she gets ALL THE GREY. I was so shocked by this because my last stylist slapped my hair dye on in less than 10 min and was done. No wonder she wasn't covering my grey!
Also I was ALWAYS double-booked at my last salon so I felt my last stylist was always rushing and not doing thorough work. Every time I've gone into Maria or Elisa for myself or my daughters, we are their only client and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate not constantly being double-booked. The work performed is so much better when your stylist only has you to work on!”

“Wow!!! I have had the taped hair extensions for a couple of years now and they were the tape style. The really get irritating so i bit the bullet and invested in the we’ve style which i love. Feels like my own hair and it’s one row. All the girls in the salon said Jen is your person and they were right. She did an amazing job! If you are considering getting extensions go in for a consult. That’s right she does free consults who does that anymore. She also confirms her own appts by text! She knows how to do hair thank God I found a local person and she knows how to run a business. “I had heard from friends about Hartz & West and have been trying to find the right stylist who really understands hair and someone who could help me reach my hair goals...I found my new hair stylist and salon!!
First off, I love that I was able to first book a consultation. I met with Carina D. and I immediately knew she just gets it. I can be indecisive and often don't know exactly how to explain what I'm going for. I also know it can be hard for both clients and stylists to start fresh with someone new, but Carina understood and explained exactly what I wanted better than I ever could! I was excited to book the next appointment with her and knew my hair was in good hands.
Fast forward to the next appointment a couple of weeks later...my hair was in need of a lot of TLC and color correcting. Carina spent so much time working her magic...she truly transformed my hair! It went from drab to finally feeling like me again.
I'm so grateful to have found this gem of a salon. Carina is not only an amazingly talented stylist - she is so sweet, fun to chat with, and an awesome person all around. Looking forward to more appointments in the future!”

I had the silly idea to dye the left half of my hair dark brown/black with a box dye at home (the right was my natural light brown color) and panicked when I saw the results. Jen gave me a consultation and assured me that she could help fix my hair mistake. She took my disaster of a home box dye and gave me a lovely head of hair! She color corrected my hair then dyed it a beautiful warm brown. I was worried that all of this would dry out my fine and heat damaged hair, but somehow I left with it feeling softer than it has ever felt before. Jen must be magic, because I don't know how she managed to get my hair looking so healthy, shiny, and beautiful! She is such a sweet person too and it was a pleasure to talk with her throughout the process. I will definitely be going back in the future when I need a trim or want to try out a new hair color. I recently moved to Danville and went to a stylist that unfortunately didn’t do a great job with my color, cut or extensions. Jen was incredibly professional when looking at my hair, not bashing the previous stylist to get my business.
