Hi, my name is Jen, also known as, @Jen.hartzandwest. For as long as I can remember, I have been a lover of all things creative. I have been a hair stylist for twenty years and loved every minute of it. Making people feel beautiful is my favorite part of my job. When you visit our salon, I don't want it to be just a hair appointment, but an experience. I strive to get to know each and every one of my clients personally. I want my chair to be a space where you can feel renewed, relaxed and refreshed in all that you are. My goal is to make you feel as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside. I have been so fortunate to have so many amazing clients over the years and look forward to each new one that sits in my chair.I am a former stylist of Salon 77 West and look so forward to this next part of my journey at Hartz & West! Hi! I am Elisa! I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2016 and a former graduate of Paul Mitchell, the school East Bay. I attended beauty school with my twin sister, whom also now works alongside me at the salon. In fact if you’re looking in the mirror and she pops up on the other side don’t be alarmed; we look very much alike. My first few years after graduating I assisted two senior stylist at Rise Collective, then full time at Salon 77 West and currently at Hartz & West. I specialize in blowouts, styling, color, long hair cutting, and hair extensions. I am a certified hand tied Haus of Hair extension specialist. My goal as a stylist is to provide professional solutions to make you look & feel fabulous! In addition, I want you to feel comfortable and open when sitting in my chair. My name is Jessi West. I have been licensed since 2002. The more I got to know the industry the more I knew it was perfect for me. Early on I began working for my mentor and started to be taught from a Sassoon background. After three years of training underneath him, I began taking Sassoon academy courses. Courses were anywhere from 3-5 days. These courses consisted of lectures, demonstrations and hands on with live models. I’ve been to Sassoon academies including: London, Santa Monica, Chicago and San Francisco. I began to help train our salon staff for over 15 years. Educating myself and others has always been a part of my inspiration for the industry and has helped grow my passion for the industry. Educating yourself throughout your entire career is what keeps you passionate and it is necessary for personal growth.

Hi everyone! My name is Tess, I’m currently a 24 year old cosmetology student as well as alicensed apprentice at Hartz & West through an apprenticeship program. I’m forever lucky that this program allows me to go through cosmetology school, while also getting extensive education working behind the chair under licensed stylists (not to mention at one of the top salons… like, pinch me so I know I’m real) I’m so grateful to be apart of an industry where you’re able to uplift others in such a creative and special way. Each stylist I’ve met has such valuable knowledge to share with me, I’m always interested in learning more. I have such a burning passion to someday say I specialize in color, cutting and extensions. I hope to see your cute-self along my journey to becoming a licensed stylist!
